The format property editor displays, and allows you to edit, the properties of the selected element.
The editor consists of two panels:

The panel on the left reflects hierarchy of the selected elements. This snap shot illustrates the "Style for All Table Reports" as selected in the working area.

The panel on the right shows the properties for the element.  In this case, the element is higher in the tree so it's child elements will be effected by changes to it's properties.

Report cell' and report setup' properties can also be shown from a report setup itself

 - Show report setup's properties

 - Show cell's properties (grouping and reporting fields, subtotal options)
