Getting Started with TDPS or TADS

TDPS is Target Data Processing Suite (Portal Designer is NOT included)

TAPS is Target Application Developer Suite (Portal Designer is included)

Install TARGET Suite

SiMX will install the software suite for you on your server(s).  For TDPS and TADS a simple installer is provided.  For TDPS, this is normally the complete process.  For TAPS certain other steps are necessary.  These are listed in steps to install the target application developers suite.

Evaluate TARGET Suite

SiMX can provide a trial key with a defined trial period to help you evaluate the Target Suite.  This evaluation is usually provided in conjunction with professional services or during the planning phase for a data processing project.

Buy TARGET Suite

Upon receipt of payment, SiMX will add the license to your customer key.

Register TARGET Suite

  1. After purchasing the license(s) you will receive your customer key
  2. SiMX will visit you server and use the customer key to activate your software for you.
  3. You may also use your customer key to register the software: copy/paste it into the appropriate field in the Evaluation Dialog (that appears upon running the trial version) or in the Register Dialog (obtained from the Help -> Register menu).
