Step 4. Check your output structure

The output field structure defines the structure of the output database table where the results of the conversion procedure will be stored. The types of the output fields also affect the default data conversion of the input text data into the database format.  That is, text input "20050127" can be converted to a string value of 20050127, a numeric value of 20,050,127 or a date value of 01/27/2005. TextConverter does smart type recognition when you load a text file, but, sometimes, additional editing is need. Use the output pane to modify (add, delete, edit) the output dictionary. Depending on your needs, additional fields can be created or existing ones removed. Modify your output structure until you are satisfied with the preview of your resulting data.
