Task Scheduler
Any procedural Target platform component projects (such as TextConverter, DbConverter, TARGET Reports, etc. as well as Integrator projects) could be configured for being executed using Windows Task Scheduler.
To schedule a new task please do the following:
1. Use the File->'Task Scheduler' main menu item to open the 'Target Task Scheduler' dialog and create a new task by clicking on the New Task button or by entering a Task Name into the empty 'Task Name' field at the end of the task list.
2. Clicking on the "..." button located in the "Schedule" column to open the Window Task Scheduler dialog and follow the MS Windows instruction on setting the scheduler properties.
The task will be run automatically according to the schedule. You can have as many scheduled tasks you wish.
While the task scheduler is a good simple interface for simple tasks, you can gain ultimate flexibility by creating a VBScript or other automation program that uses the API included with TextConverter. All packages except TextConverter Standard Edition include a full API for all functions.
