Step I. Create a report element
1. Drag-and-drop or double-click a report element resource in the Page Resources list.
The Page Resources list contains two resource elements:
The only difference between the two elements is the initial layout. The layout type can be changed any time after a report is created.
2. Select an appropriate report type by clicking the "Sigma" icon on the report element.
Report type can be changed later at any point as needed.

3. Select an appropriate layout type by clicking the square icon to the left of the sigma.
Layout type can be changed later at any point as needed.

4. Proceed to Step II. Connect to the input data source.
